It’s LIQUID
Group and International ArtExpo, in collaboration with
VALORIZZAZIONI CULTURALI | ART-EVENTS, are selecting all

HYBRID EFFECTS . From Solid Body to Liquid
Cities, international exhibition of
architecture, design, photography, video-art and performance art, hosted in
Milan, in the prestigious and luxurious Palazzo
Radetzky, in the heart of Brera Quarter, from the 14 to the 19
of April 2015, in the same period of the renowned international fair
“Salone del Mobile”, the most keenly awaited event in the world
of furniture.
Architects, designers and urban planners are invited to take part in the festival submitting
panels, video-architecture works, photos, installations and scale
models, projects and visions about contemporary desertification of the
real cities and repopulation of the digital world. They are invited to analyze
the evolution of the liquid architecture and the integration between reality and
virtual world/technologies; the relationship between architecture and the new
virtual no-places, and the possible future results. Selection will be
made by It’s LIQUID, VALORIZZAZIONI CULTURALI and
ART-EVENTS.
Artists, photographers and video makers are invited to submit photos, art videos and
performance art pieces, which represent and analyze the current
evolution of the physical body inside the liquid reality of the virtual world;
its transformation from a concrete state to a “liquid” extension. Artworks will
investigate the relationship between real cities and virtual places, and how the
man lives this dualism and the disaggregation of the physical identities.
Selection will be made by It’s LIQUID, International ArtExpo and
ART-EVENTS.
To take part in the
selection, send your works’ submissions with a CV/biography, some still
images (for video-art), links of videos/performances, pictures of artworks and
architecture/design projects via e-mail to lucacurci@lucacurci.com.
Deadline for applications is
March 25, 2015 (11.59 PM of your local time).
The event will be curated by
Arch. Luca Curci (founder of LUCA CURCI ARCHITECTS, International
ArtExpo and It’s LIQUID Group) and organized in partnership with VALORIZZAZIONI
CULTURALI | ART-EVENTS.
Luxury, prestige, and comfort are the
features of Palazzo Radetzky. The accurate and skilful
renovation work that is still underway, will permit to transform the ground
floor of the Palace in a private gallery with an exclusive courtyard located in
the heart of Brera Quarter, in a unique position of Milano city centre. Equipped
with all services and facilities. Designed in the second decade of the
Nineteenth century by renowned architect Pietro Pestagalli and built close to
the Sforzesco Castle, this palace strikes at the first glance because of its
extraordinarily elegant façade in late neo-classical style with decorations and
precious external finishes.
The Salone del Mobile
